Full Roof Replacement in Northern NJ
Sixteen line items, none of them optional. We don’t write “unforeseen” into a contract — every nail, every roll of underlayment, every linear foot of drip edge is on the page before we start.
Two days, deck to ridge cap
Day 1 we strip the old roof down to deck, inspect every sheet of plywood, swap any soft spots, lay six feet of ice & water shield up from the eave plus every valley (NJ code minimum — we don’t cut it), then full-roof synthetic underlayment. Day 2 the shingles go on: CertainTeed Landmark by default, hand-nailed ridge cap, continuous ridge vent balanced to your soffit intake, copper or aluminum step and counter flashing at every chimney and wall.
Final walk
When the crew packs up, we walk the roof at the end of the job. We sweep the driveway and yard with a magnet twice, then send the photo report.
