ROOFING CONTRACTOR
IN BRIDGEWATER.

Bridgewater is one of Somerset County's largest townships by housing units — early-1970s suburban colonials and split-levels with substantial 1980s and 1990s subdivision infill across Martinsville, Bradley Gardens, and Finderne. Replacement timing on first-cycle 80s and 90s asphalt is the recurring conversation.

WHY BRIDGEWATER IS DIFFERENT

MULTI-DECADE SUBDIVISIONS, FIRST AND SECOND-CYCLE RE-ROOFS.

Bridgewater Township's housing stock spans three decades. Early-1970s colonials and split-levels make up the older neighborhoods, and substantial 1980s and 1990s subdivision infill across Martinsville, Bradley Gardens, and Finderne adds first-cycle replacement work to the schedule. The mix means we're often quoting both older second-cycle re-roofs and younger first-cycle replacements in the same week.

What makes Bridgewater different from a single-era township is the variation in roof complexity. The older 70s splits have multi-pitch geometry and dated ventilation specs; the 80s and 90s subdivision homes are larger, with more roof area, but generally simpler designs. Each gets a scope sized to its conditions.

FAQ · Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER-SPECIFIC
QUESTIONS.

For pricing, materials, and timing questions, see Services.

My subdivision home is from the 1980s. Is it time to replace?
Possibly — 80s and 90s asphalt is now reaching the end of useful life on first-cycle roofs. The honest test: visible granule loss in the gutters, curling shingle edges, popped or missing tabs after wind, and any active leak. We schedule a free on-site inspection within 48 hours and bring photos either way.
We had storm damage. Can you help with insurance?
Yes. We document damage with photos at the inspection, scope the repair or replacement to actual conditions, and coordinate with your insurance adjuster on the claim. Same approach whether you call us first or after the adjuster's visit.
Do I need to replace gutters too?
Usually yes on a full re-roof — drip edge height changes and the old gutter sits wrong against the new shingle. Seamless aluminum goes on in the same visit. Costs less than two trips and avoids leaks at the drip edge.
How long does a Bridgewater re-roof take?
Most full replacements wrap in 1–3 days with our 4–6 person crew on site, depending on roof size and complexity. Larger 80s and 90s subdivision homes can run to the longer end. Walked at the inspection, scoped honestly in the quote.
