Paramus Roofers — Mid-Century to McMansion
Paramus is one of the largest single-town footprints we cover. The housing here is mostly post-war suburban: 1950s ranches on Spring Valley Rd, 1960s colonials and split-levels on Forest Ave, and an increasing share of 2010s custom builds in the Birchwood section.
Mid-century ranches: the bread and butter
A typical Paramus job is a 1,800–2,400 sq ft single-pitch ranch on a quarter-acre lot. Driveway is plenty for the dumpster — no street permits needed. Tear-off goes fast because the access is clean and the pitch is forgiving. Most replacements are 2 days flat with a crew of 5, GAF Timberline HDZ in Charcoal or Slate the most common color picks.
Custom builds want a specialist
The newer construction in Birchwood, off Spring Valley, and along Century Rd is a different animal — 3,500+ sq ft hip-and-valley roofs with multiple pitches, dormers, skylights, and increasingly a standing-seam metal accent on the front porch or bay window. We’re manufacturer-certified on the major standing seam lines and have done enough of these to know which inspectors at Paramus Borough Hall want photos of every valley before final.
