Hoboken Roofers — Brownstone & Flat-Roof Specialists
Mile-square city, half-square service area: most of our Hoboken work falls between First and 14th. Brownstones with shared parapets, condo flats with internal drains, the occasional pitched Victorian up by the cliff — we’ve roofed every street between the bus terminal and Castle Point.
The work mix isn’t suburban
About 80% of Hoboken jobs are flat or low-slope membrane — EPDM, modified bitumen, or TPO. That means torch-down expertise, hand-formed copper at the parapets, and scupper/drain integration most pitched-roof contractors won’t touch. The other 20% — the pitched brownstones uptown and the Victorians around 11th — get GAF Timberline HDZ with copper step flashing to match the period detail.
We know the inspectors
Historic Preservation Commission review on every downtown job. Hoboken Parking gets a daily curb permit for the dumpster. Building department wants 24” of ice & water shield past the parapet (not just the wall) — we do 30” by default to keep their margin happy. The crew base is 22 minutes from Maywood on a good day, which means we can tarp same-day if you call before 4pm.
